Desert experience:
Enjoy the spectacular dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga, with a sunset and sunrise experience. A camel ride may be included or arranged as an optional activity. Travelers can request a 4x4 transfer to the camp where available.
What to pack:
Comfortable walking shoes, lightweight clothing, a warm layer for cool desert evenings, sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and personal essentials.
Best time to travel:
Spring and autumn generally offer pleasant conditions for exploring southern Morocco. Summer can be very hot in the desert, while winter nights can be cold.
